The Despatch residency paired small groups of artists together to create mail art, ending with a group show in The New Forest in 2022. All work had to fit into an A5 envelope, each including a letter about what we had made and why. Leah began the project in the New Forest, creating work which was then sent to Virginia in New Zealand and back to me in Cornwall. We each responded to the previous artists’ ideas and work.
